This position assists a sales/project management team by providing administrative support and project coordination. This position performs receptionist job functions and a variety of responsibilities in support of management and operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Writing up job files
- Managing color selections
- Securing purchase orders
- Communicating daily with builders, suppliers, installers, and other team members.
- Managing back-orders
- Answering phones and greeting customers
- Maintenance of showroom, mailroom, and shared areas
- Filing, maintaining directories/spreadsheets, managing office supplies
- Management support and operations support
- Miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned

- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
- Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of general office experience
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
- Exceptional customer service skills with emphasis on follow up and follow through
- Previous experience in Sales Support is preferred
- Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Flexible team player with positive attitude
- Excellent phone skills and written/verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
