 Duties:
• RN is responsible for delivering care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluations;
• Effectively interacts with patient, significant others and health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing;
• Initiates discharge planning and health care education to the patient and/or significant other to promote recovery.
• Performs physiological, educational and psychosocial assessments while applying effective interviewing skills to elicit information from the patient and/or significant other that is necessary to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with unit standards.
• Understands the application and interpretation of normal and abnormal diagnostic data and incorporates it into written assessment.
• Demonstrates the ability to calculate and administer all types of medications via various routes accurately and safely for all patients served.

Qualifications
    General

        • Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and  general public
        • Unencumbered license/certification in state of Oregon and/or Washington
        • Computer literacy
        • BLS certification
        • Leadership qualities  
        • 1 year minimum experience
